That means a physical version will not be offered in the region and it will only be sold on the eShop. In North America, the situation is slightly different. Katamari Damacy Reroll will be sold physically, but only at one retailer.
GameStop has the exclusivity on that one.Japan seems to be where Katamari Damacy Reroll is receiving the best treatment. It will be sold at most retailers without any exclusivity, and digital will still be an option.
Quite honestly, my store doesn't do most of the things you listed. I can give you the low trade in values and Used games being expensive, but I think that's the retail market in general since a local game hobby store takes my stuff for even less than GS does, and Target wouldn't give me anything for my old games a while back.
But my store only sells unsealed games as new if it's the literal last copy in the store and they use the display box for it, and they've typically been very reliable. No annoying stickers on the box either. Can't say the same for online as I've only purchased from there a few times, but I don't see how going there is any worse than going to Target for something.
Yeah, one's experience can greatly vary from store-to-store. Most of what I hear is anecdotal, but I think frequent shoppers at GS get a lot better of an experience, because the workers at their respective shops become very familiar to know who not to up-sell to.Out of all stores to shop at for new video games, I think Best Buy is probably my top favorite. Their Pick-Up In-Store service is pretty top notch, their Rewards program nets you points for incremental $5 certificates pretty quickly, and their discontinued Gamer's Club Unlocked program not only incentivized shopping there, but saved me 30% on games and amiibo for just $30 every two years.Man, it's gonna suck when my subscription ends.
